We are a family-run, independent bistro located in the heart of Wrexham. We pride ourselves on serving freshly prepared dishes throughout the day, from breakfast and brunch to lunch and hearty main meals.

Our menu showcases a variety of classic and comforting favourites, from traditional Welsh rarebit and kedgeree to freshly made toasted baguettes, toasties, and sandwiches—perfect for a relaxed lunch. For those looking for something more substantial, we offer a selection of home-style dishes including rich beef bourguignon, homemade pies served with seasonal vegetables, and a flavourful vegetable tagine.

Reggies is fully licensed, offering a carefully selected range of wines and alcoholic beverages, alongside a wide choice of teas, coffees, and soft drinks.

Housed in a beautiful Victorian building, Reggies retains many of its original features, including a fireplace, original range oven, and traditional flooring. The décor reflects the charm of the era, with rich green tones and classic furnishings, creating a warm, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere for all our guests.

About us

Reggies was established in 2023 and is the result of a lifelong passion for food and hospitality. At its heart is Richard, who brings over 30 years of experience working as a chef in the catering industry. His dedication to creating delicious, authentic dishes—true to his own culinary style—is what defines the Reggies menu.

Reggies is truly a family affair. Richard’s sister, Sharon, leads as Front of House Manager, ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and excellent service. Richard’s wife, Suzanne, also plays a key role, supporting both front-of-house operations and the day-to-day running behind the scenes.

Together, they have created a bistro that combines experience, passion, and genuine hospitality—making Reggies a place where customers can feel right at home.
